Hot Streak is a game for hard luck gamblers who love to bet on and scream at the racers, who in this case happen to be mascots who may (or may not) keep running in the right direction. Unlike most racing games, the races never stop for you to make any decisions. All your sneaky strategizing is done beforehand, so everyone can just sit back, cheer, boo, and scream at a hot dog man.
The races themselves are card driven, a kind of wind-up and release system that unshackles the players from the bonds of decision making and turns them into laughing, clapping, and shouting spectators.
